Are newbies allowed?
Freelancing knows no origin, gender, or age. It won't require you to be a decorated employee before you can find a client — what matters is how skilled and prepared you become. Newbies or not, prep up, give your all, and amaze them. You go girl, break a leg!
Having second thoughts?
Hesitation is understandable, but nothing comes out of being scared all the time. Instead of contemplating, use that time to find ways to relieve yourself from those doubts.
Be inspired and learn from them
You can learn a lot from the people you work with — their passion, their drive to succeed, and their ability to make things happen against all odds. Not everyone has the same experience as you, and that's okay. You only need to make your own unique mark. Be inspired, and become an inspiration as well.
Invest and build yourself
The best way to invest in yourself is by doing things that make you happy — learning new skills, taking on challenges, and setting realistic, measurable goals. It starts with finding out what you want, then going after it with everything you've got, because it's worth it.
